The Douglass/Cook Writing Center is a friendly and supportive place where we respect you and your desire to succeed. Our tutors are invested in your success. We are trained and eager to help students who want to turn a B+ into an A as well as those struggling to pass, and everybody in between.  Our services are available to all students currently enrolled in Rutgers Writing Program courses in New Brunswick.

The Writing Center is happy to assist students with the challenges of writing, and to provide tutors with experience on the other side of the writing desk. Typically we work with students enrolled in writing program courses, but occasionally we assist students in literature courses or other writing intensive classes. Please see the student enrollment form, then come to our office at 135 George Street with your form. We will be happy to assign you to a tutor.

Let’s all work together to make the process of thinking, reading, and writing, a fun, informative, and rewarding one!
